The Bridge of Sighs in Cambridge is a bridge belonging to St Johns College of Cambridge University. It was built in 1831 and crosses the River Cam between the college's Third Court and New Court. The architect was Henry Hutchinson. A small unsigned sepia etching on good clean racked paper. C1885. There is a signiture, bottom left. R Farrer. Small 1/4" tears one at the top and one on the bottom edge.

The Mathermatical Bridge  is the popular name of a wooden bridge across the River Cam between two parts of Queens College, Cambridge. Its official name is merely the Wooden Bridge.

Condition of the paper is clean and the engraving strong,it has been handcoloured by Barbara Frith. There is a tear which runs into the image up from the bottom 3 1/4" long
This has been repaired at an earlier date, and appears to be acid free conservation tape. It hardly shows under the colouring. (this has been reflected in the price) if in good condition it would fetch £150.00
