The condition is excellent. There is an original crease on the top edge which runs into the top of the image.The paper is a creamy white colour. The edges are slightly browned.
The image measures approximately 8 1/4 x 9.

The condition is excellent. The paper is a creamy white colour. The edges are slightly browned.
The cockling on the image is due to the scanning and is not so visable on the actual image.
The image measures approximately 7 1/2 x 11 1/2 inches, and the page size  11 x 17 1/2 inches.

Information

Johannes Kip (1653-1722) was a Dutchman who settled in England at the end of the 17th century. A talented draughtsman & engraver he produced the engravings for the remarkable "The Ancient & Present State of Gloucestershire",  published by Sir Robert Atkyns in 1712.
